Black History Month
Hello, World! We're excited to announce our first scholarship of the year, in celebration of Black History Month.
SuperHi's mission is to give creative and curious people the tools, techniques, and confidence to bring ideas and work to life online. We're here to help people advance in their skills and careers, work more confidently, or change their careers entirely, in the digital and creative industries. We believe that everyone should have a seat in the classroom; that education should be accessible to all, regardless of your background; that diversity is the key to creating great products; that everyone deserves to have all the tools, resources, and community needed to create, grow, build, and connect without boundaries.
At SuperHi we're proud to share that we have a diverse and international student base comprised of 59% women, 2% non-binary, and 39% men, represented in over 90 countries and multicultural backgrounds. They make amazing sites, design beautiful digital products, and run healthy and happy projects. You can see our students' work in our Hall of Fame here. They're a supportive bunch, too, always sharing knowledge and feedback to fellow students!
What you can win
50 scholarship prize winners will receive any single course, collection, or three course custom collection of their choice
These prize winners will also receive full access to the SuperHi Slack community of over 8,000 current students and alumni working in the creative and technology industries, plus access to the SuperHi Editor and a digital copy of our Learn to Code Now book
Who can apply
Our Black History Month scholarship is dedicated to Black people. We want to give extra consideration to those who want to get into the creative industry but haven't had the financial opportunity to do so. To ensure that we're approaching this the right way, the judging and selection panel will be comprised of five of our students from the Black community.
This scholarship is open to international applicants, as well!

Depending on the course, you may also need access to specific tools, but anything required for a course is free to use and we'll show you how to use them.
