How it works

You sign up to the course

We thank you for being an amazing person. You'll get digital copies of our Learn To Code Now book straight away in your inbox to start reading.

Wait by the mailbox

Before your course starts, you'll receive a pack in the mail. It'll contain the printed copy of our book, project overviews, a browser sketch pad, stickers and more.

The SuperHi Editor

You'll also receive an access code to the SuperHi Editor — a code editor we've made especially for beginners. You're writing the same code as professional coders, but using artificial intelligence, it'll let you know when and how you're going wrong. Every project is also hosted and has version control.

Video content

During the course, you'll get access to our training videos. Every week, you'll create a brand new project with 2–4 of hours of video each week. The videos are split into 5–30 minutes so you can do them all in one or a few a day.

Get help + advice

You'll also get access to our Slack chatroom, our email support and our 1:1 booking system where you ask our teachers any questions – from how to make your own projects to how to go freelance. You're the boss.

Request your own lessons

Curious about a new site you've seen? Unsure how it was put together? We break down the very latest in web design (and we mean days-old!) by making custom videos based on what you want to know.

SuperHi Video

You'll get lifetime access to our upcoming service, SuperHi Video, launching in June. It's a subscription service for intermediate and advanced coders that will take your coding to the next level. Usually it'll be $29 a month but you get it free – forever.

Continued support

After learning a ton about HTML, CSS and Javascript, we want to you keep learning. Unlike other courses, we'll keep supporting you whenever you need help.

We don’t believe in going it alone. Each class consists of no more than 20 students and a private Slack channel to hang out, share feedback and get help along the way.

4 sessions of 1:1 instructor tutoring calls, by Skype or phone, get you all the answers you need when you need them.

Learn with real-world projects

Week 1 / 8

Simple sites

We start by learning the basics of how website get build with HTML & CSS. Using simple techniques you'll build your first website with background images and a parallax effect.

“The course was fantastic. I’ve done bits and pieces of web design, but to break it down like this and show piece-by-piece how you can make stunning websites was great. I now feel like I don’t have glaring gaps and could start from a blank page.”

Matt Soczywko Marketing manager

“Probably the best course I have ever done. I understood everything on this course. It was amazing how much I could learn. I also really liked the fact that we worked on real projects, something that could be applied into my work right now.”

Kristina Kiselyte Web designer

“The course was brilliant. Wish I’d done it ages ago. I’ve been unsuccessfully trying to teach myself to code for years and I now feel I can finally look at a flat design and visualise it in my head – I didn’t think I’d be at that point after the course so I’m very happy.”

Ed Pentelow Digital designer

Who is the course for?

Anyone who is looking for the tools you need to create websites from scratch and to work with other coders. We’re not trying to turn you into a professional web developer, but this could be the first step.

Most of our students work in the creative industries – designers, strategists and copywriters are the most common jobs amongst our students – but you can work in any industry to join the course.

What do I need?

A computer (Windows, Mac or Linux) with the latest version of Chrome installed and a broadband internet connection. That’s it!

Who are the teachers?
