SuperHi’s mission is to make creative education, better designed. We give the creative and curious the tools and techniques to bring their ideas and work to life online.
We teach practical skills in code, design, and project management in a real-world way. We’re a proudly remote team with people located in the US, England, Scotland, Hong Kong, and Portugal. As a company, we are a fast-growing, profitable startup and are backed by some of the world's top VCs like Expa and ustwo Adventure.
We're looking for a teacher to help us create brand new courses for thousands of students and help update our current courses to make them even better.
You should have experience in any one of the following areas:
beginner front-end development (example topics: HTML, CSS, beginner JS, no-code and low-code solutions)

Play a leading role in the delivery of SuperHi courses.

Work with other team members and external designers to create beautiful projects to teach.
Record the course projects with assistance from the content team in the best format for students, be it screencast, on camera or interview format.
Get lots of love from our students when they take the courses you help create!
You could be a good fit for this role if you…
Have a strong background in code.
Are good at breaking down complex topics in a logical, straightforward way.
Feel confident talking through topics in a pre-recorded setting.
Have a clear English-speaking voice (accents are fine!).
Have a strong interest in creative education.
Have good attention to detail - your cover letter should include the word "tomato" somewhere.
Are self-motivated and organized.
Have previous experience teaching in either an online or in-person classroom environment.
Experience working remotely.
Experience working with Notion and Help Scout.
Experience working in a growing startup environment.
Have previous experience in developing curriculums for courses.
We want you to meet with a variety of people from different teams and get a sense of what it’s like to work together. This means our interview process takes a bit more time than most places.
Our first interview is a conversational-style interview. The best way to prepare for this is to spend some time reflecting on all of the experiences you've had and the things you've done to bring you to the point you're at today. It's more of a two-sided conversation than us "grilling" you.
Next, you'll receive a test. It won't be a long test — just a couple of hours maximum — and you'll be fairly paid for your time.
Then you'll meet several members of the team, so you can get to know the people you could be working with and the problems they’re currently solving.
We make a decision after collecting lots of feedback from our various and diverse team members. The hiring team will take the time to meet and discuss and will come back to you with a decision.
